Right now, we are focused on several urgent humanitarian initiatives. Our Rapid Clothing Aid Program is providing warm winter clothing to children in Ukraine, where millions have been displaced by war and face freezing temperatures without proper protection.
We are also delivering emergency food and nutritional aid to children and families in Gaza, where famine has been confirmed and thousands of lives are at risk due to hunger, displacement, and lack of access to clean water and medical care.
In addition to our international work, we are deeply committed to supporting our local community here in Norway. Our first city of focus is our hometown, where we’re launching local outreach efforts to assist vulnerable families with clothing, essentials, and support services.
These projects reflect our mission: to care for children, youth, and families—wherever the need is greatest.
We regularly share updates, stories, and important announcements on our News & Blog page. It’s the best place to follow our ongoing projects, humanitarian efforts, and upcoming events. You can also follow us on social media as well!
Programs and services:
Explore the diverse programs, services, and community efforts led by YOTF.
From education and emergency aid to local support and advocacy, we’re committed to creating safer, stronger futures for children, youth, and families—both at home and abroad.
YOTF offers a range of humanitarian programs focused on both emergency relief and long-term support. This includes clothing and essentials for families in crisis, community-based aid projects, educational support for youth, and mental health-focused outreach. Our services are shaped by the needs of the people we support—both locally and internationally.
YOTF’s educational support is designed to uplift children and youth who have experienced hardship or disruption. This may include catch-up learning, life skills workshops, or language support, depending on the region. We also provide information for families to help navigate local systems and opportunities.
es. YOTF prioritises support for communities facing hardship, displacement, or crisis. This includes refugee families, children affected by conflict, and vulnerable groups within our local areas. Our goal is to meet people where they are—with dignity, care, and respect for their unique needs.
Not yet—but there will be. YOTF is in the early stages of planning local events, donation drives, and community workshops. These will offer opportunities to connect, contribute, and learn more about the work we do. Keep an eye on our News & Blog page and social media channels for upcoming announcements.
You can get involved by helping us raise awareness, sharing stories from the ground, and standing up for the rights of children and families. Visit our Get Involved page to learn more about how you can take part in YOTF’s advocacy campaigns, both online and in your community.
Accountability:
At YOTF, accountability means acting with integrity, staying true to our mission, and building trust through transparency and care.
We are committed to responsible action, ethical decision-making, and listening to the voices of the communities we serve. As we grow, we’re laying the foundation for long-term impact—driven by purpose, guided by values, and open to feedback every step of the way.
YOTF exists to serve children, youth, and families who face hardship, displacement, or crisis. Through direct support, education, and community initiatives, we aim to create safe, stable environments where dignity is restored and futures are possible. Our work begins in our hometown in Norway and extends to international emergency relief, including current efforts in Ukraine and Gaza.
We are guided by integrity in everything we do. Each program is built with clear goals, regular evaluations, and internal reporting structures to ensure resources are used responsibly. Our small but dedicated team monitors all active initiatives, and we take great care in partnering only with those who share our values and commitment to ethical, people-first work.
Even in the early stages, we’re building a culture based on trust, care, and responsibility. We prioritise ethical decision-making, community input, and fairness in how we serve others. As we grow, we are committed to staying grounded in our values—working in ways that are transparent, community-led, and constantly improving.
We welcome all feedback—whether it's a suggestion, concern, or general message. If you’d like to share something with us, please use the contact form on our Contact page. All messages are reviewed with care and handled confidentially when needed.
As we grow, so will our responsibility to the people and communities we serve. We are laying the groundwork now for clear reporting, stronger governance, and open channels for learning and improvement. Accountability is not just a requirement—it’s a commitment we carry into every partnership, project, and conversation.
