Rapid clothing aid program for children of Ukraine

Support and donate to help the children of Ukraine

As the cold season begins, thousands of children in Ukraine are facing winter without the basic protection they need to survive. We’re launching an urgent relief effort—and we need your help.

For over three years, the children of Ukraine have endured a brutal and relentless war that has stolen their homes, their schools, and their sense of safety. Now, as winter closes in once again, they face a new and deadly threat: the cold.

Our Rapid Clothing Aid Program is being launched in direct response to this critical moment. With millions displaced and infrastructure destroyed, countless families are heading into freezing temperatures without warm jackets, insulated boots, gloves, or thermal layers. Many children have nothing but the clothes they wore when they fled their homes.

These are not just seasonal needs—they are survival needs.

“Children in frontline areas have spent the equivalent of 7 months sheltering underground.”
Bomb shelters offer protection from bombs, but not from the cold.

Why this matters now

  • 1.9 million children inside Ukraine are in urgent need of humanitarian aid.
  • Over 3.7 million people remain internally displaced, many without adequate shelter or supplies.
  • Temperatures are already dropping, and the coming months will bring sub-zero conditions that children without winter clothing cannot endure.

These children have already survived unimaginable trauma. From seeing their schools destroyed to spending months on end in cold, dark shelters, their lives have been upended. Many are at risk of depression, PTSD, and physical illness due to prolonged exposure and stress. We must not let the winter add to their suffering.

What we’re doing

Through our Rapid Clothing Aid Program, we are mobilizing urgent resources to deliver anything of the below:

  • Winter jackets and coats
  • Thermal underlayers
  • Insulated boots and socks
  • Warm hats, scarves, and gloves
  • Emergency blankets and sleeping bags for families in displacement shelters

We are working on finding trusted local partners and humanitarian organizations on the ground to ensure fast, effective, and safe distribution—targeting the most vulnerable children and families in high-risk areas.

What you can do

This is a time for global solidarity. The world cannot look away as children freeze, physically and emotionally, in the shadows of a war they never asked for.

Donate today — Your gift helps us buy and deliver critical winter clothing where it’s needed most.
Share this message — Help us reach more people by posting this campaign across your networks.
Get involved — Organize local collection drives, fundraisers, or awareness events in your community.

Every donation is a layer of warmth, a shield of protection, and a message of hope.

The cost of inaction

We cannot allow children to fall through the cracks. The cost of doing nothing is measured not just in frostbitten hands or sleepless nights, but in lost futures.

“I have seen and heard what a war is… It is so unpleasant that I can’t even find words to describe it.”
Nika, 11 years old, Kharkiv, reference from Unicef

These words should never have to come from a child. But they do—and we must respond.

The time to act is now.

Winter waits for no one.
Help us deliver warmth, safety, and care to Ukraine’s children—before it’s too late.
